"JUST SOME MESSAGES FROM SHARON'S HEART"
Sharon Dale, Palominas, Arizona

Page Six

HE  Carried  Me …

He carried me on his shoulders
And kept me safe and warm…
His shoulders that were broad and strong
Could get me thru any storm...
He held me tight and sheltered me
From the blowing and drifting snow
That was life when he was young
So many many years ago…

He did his best to shelter me
From the cold cruel world you see…
He always said that I was special
And loved me unconditionally…

He taught me to be strong and be true unto my word
He taught me to be loving and not to hurt even a little bird…

Yes, I am speaking of my Father Who I love and miss so
 much…
He cared and loved me beyond all measure
With a heart of a man
Who had accepted the Masters touch…

His life was given by his FATHER
His life was taken by the same…
He now resides in heaven with all
And in that, “Praise God” we exclaim !!!

*****
HE is your Father
HE  is your Dad
HE is the head of your home
HE is everyone’s protector
HE is the place where we often roam
HE is my savior
HE is my king
HE is the first, the last,
HE is my everything…

Merry Christmas
and
May his spirit lift you up and give you peace ...

The Power of Forgiveness

When times are good and things aren’t bad
We enjoy our life and we feel so glad...

When the sun is shining and the sky is blue
Life couldn’t get any better for me and you...

When the ups are more than the downs seem to be
We can overlook some things with a good sense of certainty...

In order to appreciate all the joy in our life
We all must go thru some awful hurtful strife...

God did not give us hurt and despair
We as mere humans have put it all there...

What God did give us and teach us to do
Is to get down on our knees and pray thru and thru...

HE taught us to love and to live with each other
HE left us here to care for one another...

What HE gave us was awesome, total and complete
For HE died for our sins and laid them at the Masters feet...

His death was for “Forgiveness” for one and for all
Forgiveness in death was His final call...

So to “Forgive” is the beginning and the end you see
For without it we are nothing,

And there will be no eternity...

And this is Why…
Our son's and daughter's they are off to war
To save a people who've been there before…
To save them from death by a dictator's oppression
And give them their freedom without any question…
The price to be paid is not just by one
It is paid and paid dearly by each daughter and son…
We'll grieve and we'll bury those loved ones we lost
And remember they went to help, to help at any cost…
The daddy's and husbands and wives who are gone
Are sharing their freedom and fighting the wrong…
Some will come home and some will stay longer
And some will be free with our Heavenly Father…
The price of freedom is paid each and every day
It is not given so easily but with blood it does pay…
But those soldiers who offer their honor and their might
Go off to a war and give it their best fight…
Some see them as fighters
Some see them as righters
Some see them as angels of mercy…
But to their fathers and mothers
Husbands, children and wives
They are such hero's to honor
For some gave their lives…
The freedom we have was bought and paid for with blood
And it will continue to be paid for each and everyone…
The sons and the daughters of the soldiers on the line
Can come to the ultimate conclusion in time…
That to know that they are free and kept safe from the beast
Because of their loved ones who refused defeat…
But chose God and Country
Honor and Pride
And fought to the end with God as their guide…

Memories

I  wanna go back to the simpler of times
Of  bright sunny days with no care nor no rhymes…

Of kittens and cows and a horse or two
Maybe a visit with my cousins would surely do…

With the five of us setting down for a meal
And sharing our days with each other with zeal…

The days seemed to drag on in the years of my youth
They never seemed to end but grew with each tooth…

O the days that were autumn with the ending of the year
Lead us to the winter and the season of  holiday and cheer…

With cookies a baking and presents under the tree
There was never much money, but Mom and Dad always managed,  you see…

Dad and Mom gave us kids  such great memories of  life
And the love that they gave us seems to have lessened life’s strife…

I never realized while growing up how wonderful my family  was
It never really dawned on me until I got out in the world…

Just how fortunate and blessed I was
When I was that  little girl…

The trees are leafing out even the Penny Trees
And the flowers they are blooming,

With the help of the bumble bees…

The newborn calves are running and bucking  all about
O so cute they are in the grass…

Those sparkling black eyes and their mom’s near a shout
Reminds me of my days that have long passed.

So I can’t go back to relive my youth
Nor can some of those who were there be with me…

But my memories are here and so very clear
That in my heart, they will always be dear to thee…

For the Lord HE does giveth and HE does taketh away
HE bestows all HIS love to HIS children…

It was HE who gave me my birth and my life
And it is HE who will take me home again…
